Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Swim Instructor to join our team. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality swim lessons that cater to individuals of all ages and skill levels. Whether teaching water safety skills to children, helping adults conquer their fear of swimming, or refining techniques for experienced swimmers, you will play a vital role in empowering our community to grow their swimming abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct swim lessons in accordance with The Swim Social's curriculum, focusing on water safety, technique, and confidence-building.

• Assess students' swimming abilities and provide personalized instruction to help them achieve their goals.

• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages skill development and fosters a sense of community.

• Communicate effectively with students and their parents/guardians to track progress and address any concerns.

• Ensure the safety of all participants by adhering to established safety guidelines and protocols.

Qualifications:

• CPR/AED certification (or willing to be certified prior to season starting)

• Age: 17

• Must have drivers license and working car.

• Previous experience teaching swimming lessons to individuals or groups preferred

• Strong swimming skills and knowledge/able to swim all 4 strokes 

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Patient, enthusiastic, and passionate about teaching others to swim

• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners
